Our Reserve Red is an elegant and savory style red wine. It is dry with notes of boysenberry, plum, cassis, and warm baking spices. On the palate, supple tannins lead to a long finish. The genesis for the inaugural release of our Reserve Red was our discovery of a hidden gem: Petite Sirah that was almost forgotten in the cellar with beautifully rich berry flavors and developed oak aromas from aging in French and American barrels for several years. We blended it with young Cabernet Sauvignon to bring freshness, structure and tannin to the final wine.

Our 2021 Chenin Blanc has notes of honeydew melon, pear and Meyer lemon. Beautifully textured on the palate with crisp acidity. Nestled in the Sacramento River Delta, Clarksburg is well known for producing vibrant Chenin Blanc, a late ripening grape and this wine hails from a single vineyard there. The cooling breezes help to maintain fresh acidity, and warm sunny days allow for even ripening. We were so impressed by this particular lot that we held it back to give it extended aging it on its lees for 12 months to develop a creamy texture and nuanced characteristics.
